酴圖弝け to hold celebrations for Native American and American Indian Heritage Month

STARKVILLE, Miss.Mississippi State is observing national Native American and American Indian Heritage Month throughout November with university groups planning a variety of celebratory events.
酴圖弝け begins the historical month with the Indigenous Dance and Culture Demonstration, an opportunity to learn about Choctaw culture through crafts, food and dancing, Nov. 2, 12-2 p.m. on the Drill Field, hosted by 酴圖弝けs Division of Access, Diversity and Inclusion and the Indigenous Students and Allies Association.
The two groups also will hold Tuesday Night Lights: The Stickball Experience on Nov. 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m., as the grand opening of 酴圖弝けs Stickball Intramural Fields at the Vet School on 2745 W. Line Road. The event will consist of tailgating, traditional Indigenous foods and stickball demonstrations.
